Finally Finished

In the Spring of 2011 I decided to make a gift for a dear friend of my oldest daughter. After months of delays and difficulties it was finished today.

The fabric is a light weight cotton, the crochet thread is from an antique ball of perl cotton found at a thrift store in Colorado, the pattern for the yoke is from a copy of a pamphlet published about 100 years ago.

Here are two close up photos of the crochet detail:

It is such a liberating feeling to finish a project. Slowly my pile of hand work is getting smaller and smaller. What a relief it will be when there are no projects left on the To-Do-List.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Please visit again soon.
