we are raising and homeschooling our granddaughter who is 5 y.o., this is new to us and a little frustrating at the moment

We homeschool as well, I know it’s easy to get overwhelmed at times. But 5 years is so little, there’s no need to stress about it right now. I’ve found that lots of reading, crafts, nature study and hands on ”living” math works really well for little ones!

I have been watching your videos on you tube and enjoy them very much. I agree that we should be striving to live a simpler way of life. I just found out about your website and signed up. Hopefully, my wife and I can contributed to this community and help alll if possible.

Welcome to the community. I homeschool my 13 year old daughter and am fairly new to ”homesteading”. I look forward to getting to know you some time. A few of us try to regularly hook up in the evenings on chat (about 830-9 pm central).
