I found a home on the market just up the road from me that I really like. It sits on 1.05 acres… wish it were more, but there is land around it that one could potentially buy. It is a 1 1/2 story home with a small river running through the back yard, the yard has lots of landscaping done to it and it also has fruit trees and grape vines. They are asking $89,000 for it, reduced from $97,000.

How can anybody sell that place! How beautiful. How many bathrooms and bedrooms? Looks very clean. Wood heat?

I don’t know what it has in it for heat, the site doesn’t say, but I would definitely put in an outdoor wood burner. It has a lot of charm and potential. It looks good in photos.. I will agree, the test will be to actually walk through it. It has 1 bathroom and 3 bedrooms. It is a 1 1/2 story early colonial built in 1910. Total 1350 sq feet of living space.

Our taxes for 58 acres with house etc are less than that! Do a walk through and see. I still like the floor plan for that North Country Home

The taxes on the house my ex and I built were like $3400 if I remember correctly. I think $1750 is cheap considering it is considered “waterfront” property too.
