We have friends( elderly couple) that live in TX not far across from New Orleans and they are sharing info about the shrimp industry is going to be really affected by this oil slick and they also worry with hurricane season upon them what effect this will bring if it is thrown inland, possible fresh water contamination as well as oil in and upon everything. They also share of their talk of burning it off the spill and the gulf stream carrying the smoke inland, right over their farm, as well as everyone else in the areas affected. The long term ramifications of all of this I don’t think we’ll be able to grasp, until we actually see them firsthand, way…. down the road*sigh*
