Great video….your guest seemed very well versed on the topic. I am totally with you on the spill in Nigeria…no one really reported that…and THANK YOU for the comments you made about Nigeria… it shows your heart and soul as real and caring for others.
Wow,I dont even know where to start with this one!:o
Double whammy on top of your usage fee.So does that mean that if I’m a farmer(doing a vital need/service)I can bill all of the province for failed crops, bad weather ect??Can you honestly think of ANY other company that bills thier debt to consumers just so they don’t cut into thier profits?HAHA I cant.
What would people say if, like Walmart or variety stores decided to charge debt recovery to your bill…?People would be outraged and furious! The oil companies are just trying a fast one and trying to avoid facing the music, as it were.
Thier way out is,”we provide a nessasary service” But that cop out doesn’t fly. They make the millions/trillions of dollars, so they should pay for thier own lack of maintainace and equiptment failures just like everyone else. ;D *thumbs up* its like this:The gov’t will automaticly side with and go along with ANY billion dollar corperation/service just so they dont lose that revenue.(hydro-as i pointed out,now the oil companies, and as I’ve been shown before, railway companies-this is what we’re gonna do, how we’re gonna do it,and you’re going to enforce our laws, rules, and codes of conduct). The gov’t just goes along with it. Our gov’t and these megacoperations need a serious reality check and put back in thier place..AS A SERVICE COMPANY not as GOV’T!! ;D
@ Mikey/Ghettoman:
Sorry, at the begining I metioned Ontario Hydro as an example but something got cut out..IE:Ont. hydro shows on thier bill “debt recovery charge”.. wow,WTF is that? lol Now, sayin that, the rest I wrote will make a lil more sence.. ;D
