Ok everyone there are just a few more weeks until Christmas. 
How are your homemade gifts coming along? Have you taken time to DO things together as a family? We are planning to soon take our traditional Christmas light drive. We all love that so much. Each year near Christmas we pick a night when the weather is nice, fill up on hot chocolate and take a slow drive through the local towns. The light displays are just amazing some years!

We always take a ride one night to look at at the lights too. More and more homes around our area are doing really large Christmas light displays with the synchronized music. I love to look at the homes in the old district of De Pere. These are very large colonials and they are so beautiful decked out for the holidays.

We do the same…even with teenagers they enjoy it…and we pick the night that we also do a drive through a live nativity scene set up by a church not far from here. It’s a chance to hear the Christmas story over loud speakers and driving through each scene. Such a wonderful time to realize that the only reason there is a Christmas is because of Jesus birth.
