I’m going to have to try this again. I don’t understand – I can crochet quite well, but I can NOT manage to knit. It’s frustrating, because I really want to make some homemade socks. I’ll have to get my needles out this winter and see if your videos help.

Oh keep trying! I learned to crochet when I was a girl, but knitting took me a long time to get to. I finally figured out it was because I was used to working the yarn in my left hand when crocheting. But everyone was trying to teach me English knitting that uses the yarn in your right hand. For me it was just awkward. I can do it that way now, but it was much easier to learn Continental knitting. The yarn in the left hand felt more natural.
