We are still working on renovating the summer kitchen. The sewing room side is almost done. When hubby lifted up the old boards were the cabinets used to be, we found some newspapers from 1920′s -30′s.

Very cool. By the way I know where there is a Rambler station wagon. My aunt owned one and it sits in her garage in Virginia :0) Missed you guys glad to see you’re back to posting.

OH!<:O You're SO lucky!Did demolition on old farmhouse once and the entire 2nd floor was 8-10 sheets thick of old hockey cards in the walls,UNCUT,from black n whites to 62-65 I think was the newest.LOL My boss LOADED his trunk!haha They were 3x4foot sheets..roughly.Found a MINT john deere, ring grear tractor jack too!It was rated at INSANE weight,as it turned out.lol It had a square, cast, flip top piece (rough spikey surface)for extra height/grip on what was being jacked.Old skeleton keys n glass/porcilain doorknobs are VERY collectable too!Love the cupboards too!;D Lived over store in downtown Woodtock,it had the SAME ones in it and leaded glass skylight…wicked!:)
Sorry..P.S>…I’d LOVE a copy of that Essex ad!! The last family car/hotrod we had was a 31 Essex! lol Everyone always went, nice model A or T…Its an ESSEX the ol man would yell.. hehe. Also, does your library had micro films?Thankfully we have old papaers on the back into 1800′s at Central library, here in London. ;D *thumbs up*I’ve acctually dated back silverware and chez lounges(psychiatrist couches lol) that we found diggin up gardens, back to 1880 ish..glass bottles too..Wierd huh? Most of what I found was listed in the hudsons bay catalog ironicly..lol
