Hi everyone! I didn’t intend for such a long time between postings. Dec/Jan is a busy time for us and often I would go to write a post and something would come up.
It’s really cold here today, last night went down to -15 C not including the wind chill. Burr!! I’m working at getting caught up on things today. Friday coming home the idler pulley broke on the van, so dh spent Sat. tracking down a part and fixing it. Then another snow storm moved in that evening. WOW were the winds ever strong! Many times that evening we couldn’t see out out windows for the blowing snow. The next morning we had a foot of snow in the driveway, and of course a small mountain at the bottom of the driveway. A nice gift from the snow plow. lol Only problem with that was the snowblower wouldn’t start! It took dh most of the morning to get it running. Turns out the float in the carb was frozen real bad. Not real impressed for a brand new snowblower to be giving us problems already. It has less then 15 hours running time on it. Some times I think you just can’t win. If you buy an old one your fixing it constantly. If you buy a new one it breaks anyway. At one time you would spend good money for a new item and it would LAST.
I’ve made a few new videos this past week. One is for my rice pudding recipe and the other for my hot chocolate mix. I hope you enjoy! I filmed a basic bread baking video this weekend as well. I hope to have that up soon to.

I was giddy with excitement when I saw your new post…oh sad a life I must live. LOL. Anyway, so glad you are all fine. I guess in blogland and website, when one is missing we right away assume things are not well..or people are injured…why do we think that? So I am GLAD you are all fine.
I’m not sure what happened to our “going to be the coldest winter yet”…they sure were wrong on that one. It has been so warm here…but rain, yikes! And the aphids (sp?), they are by the trillions…the are everywhere…and smell it.s horrible. We have never had anything like it before. I don’t remember even seeing one before during this time of year….but they are by the front door…in the door kennel…on the retaining walls…walkways…and smell it’s gross…we just keep spraying and spraying and the smell of that combined with the smell of aphids…oh my, it’s horrible. Must be all the rain and warm weather…not sure what else it could be.
LOVED your videos on rice pudding and hot chocolate…can’t wait for your bread making one. My bread maker bit the dust, so I’m doing it by hand…good for my exercise…will burn lots of calories LOL.

I’m sorry I worried you ((hugs)). Yes I get worried to when my friends go awol online. lol I was sick just after Christmas with a bug that didn’t want to go away. arrg It’s been a year for them.
It’s been a pretty cold winter here. Not the coldest winter by far but still burrr! LOL
